The mission of the Chelsea Public Schools library program is to bring information literacy and reading competencies to all students with the goal of helping them to become independent, life-long learners who are productive members of an ever-changing community. To that end, library teachers collaborate with administrators and faculty to plan and implement instructional activities that introduce and reinforce the competencies needed for literature appreciation and for information retrieval and use. |
